It is located in a great area with several large hotels such as New York New York, MGM Grand, and the Tropicana within easy walking distance and there is also a tram that you can ride between the hotels. The Luxor Hotel and Casino has a truly unique design. It is an all glass pyramid, jet black in colour with a strobe light at the top aimed at the stars. Airline pilots can see this hotel from miles around! the Luxor Hotel and Casino has also been featured in the reality show called the amazing race. One of the unique features of this hotel is the fact that you can see the pyramid shape of the hotel for miles around especially when you are flying into the Las Vegas airport. The sunlight glistening off the black glass of the power, or the strobe light at night ensures that everyone can see this beautiful casino.
